  2012 John Smith's Grand National

  Trainers are requested to note that
  The 2012 John Smith's Grand National
  at Aintree on April 14th closes for
  entries in Ireland on MONDAY 30th
  JANUARY (See page 30 of the Irish
  Racing Calendar dated 12th January for
  full details).
  
   FOREIGN PERFORMANCES
  ===================================
  Trainers can now confirm a foreign
  performance with HRI via email.
  Confirm the Horse Name, Race Meeting,
  Date, Race Name and Finishing Position
  to publications@hri.ie within 48hours
  of the horse's performance abroad.
  Faxed confirmations are still accepted

   NOTICE TO TRAINERS
  ====================================
  Trainers are advised that it is their
  responsibility to update their Horse
  in Training records by 31st December
  2011 before the Horse in Training
  Levy for 2012 is charged for the
  period 1st January, 2012-31st December
  ,2012.
  We would also like to remind all
  Trainers that it is their
  responsibilty to immediately notify
  HRI when an animal leaves his/her yard
  ,dies or is gelded as outlined in Rule
  148 (vi). Any breach of this Rule will
  incur the penalty of a fine not less
  than 130 euro.
